Energy Service Agreements (ESA’s) are a type of funding solution that enables building owners to implement energy-efficiency and on-site power generation upgrades today without making a financial investment upfront.

• Just like a utility service, an ESA is an off-balance sheet expense and 100% tax deductible

• ESA’s can be used for any efficiency project like lighting, HVAC, and smart energy controls or any on-site power generation like solar / storage or combined heat and power (CHP)

• ESA’s take the financial and project implementation burden off of the building owner; and building owners pay a monthly amount that is less than the total saved, so from day one there is savings applied to the bottom line

Steam Management will design, build, install, and maintain your steam system with no capital investment on your part.  You get savings right away from your new energy efficient system. Additionally, each month after installation, for the duration of the agreement, a portion of the savings goes to RENEW Energy Partners.  At the end of the agreement, you take ownership of the new systems, at no cost or at a small fraction of the cost, and 100% of the savings go to your bottom line.  

Renew Energy Partners helps building owners reduce their carbon footprint and save money by making commercial and industrial buildings cleaner, more energy-efficient, nicer, and more resilient. We fund, install, and manage systems for energy-efficiency and on-site clean power generation at no cost to the building owner.

Upgrades are funded by future savings. Renew Energy Partners provides the up-front capital and expertise to purchase, install, and maintain the new systems under an energy service agreement (ESA). Monthly, for the duration of the agreement, a portion of the savings is payed to Renew Energy Partners and a portion goes to the building owner. After the term of the agreement, 100% of the savings goes to the building owner and the new systems become their property at no cost.
