Vice President & COO
Mr. Carlsen is a seasoned chief operations officer with 20 years of experience in the mechanical and industrial engineering industry. Strong professional skills in energy, sustainability, renewable energy, engineering, project management, and business development. Mr. Carlsen holds a C.E.M. certification with the Association of Energy Engineers.
Chase Bean
Director of Business Development and Engineering
Mr. Bean manages the engineering team, oversees all engineering designs and deliverables, and identifies and develops energy conservation opportunities for SMI clients. He has over 15 years of engineering, project management, engineering management, and business development experience in the energy sector. He is a registered PE in multiple states, holds his Project Management Professional (PMP), and Certified Energy Manager (CEM) certifications.
