How We Collaborate with You

We understand the unique needs of ESCOs and offer flexible ways to partner.

  1. Paid Audit: The ESCO pays upfront for the development of the audit and project scope.

  2. Deferred Risk: A shared-risk approach where payment for the audit is deferred to the construction phase. This includes a breakage fee if the project does not proceed.

  3. Memorandum of Understanding (MOU): We work under an MOU framework, which can take two forms:

    1. MOU with Breakage Fee: We provide services at-risk but are reimbursed through a breakage fee if the project does not move forward.

    2. MOU Without Breakage Fee: We commit at-risk, with no initial payment, supported by a written agreement.

  4. At-Risk: Audit at no cost, if ESCO secures the project we are brought in as a partner to execute the work.

Common Payback Drivers

Failing steam traps waste steam, reduce system efficiency, and increase fuel costs. By identifying and repairing or replacing malfunctioning traps, facilities can quickly reduce energy losses, often with paybacks under 2 years. Typical failure rates exceed 20–30% in aging systems

Steam Trap Repairs & Replacements

Uninsulated valves, fittings, and piping in steam and hot water systems account for significant thermal losses. Installing or upgrading conventional and removable insulation delivers safety and performance improvements and fast, measurable energy savings, often with paybacks under 3 years.
